About us

James and the staff have worked and coached with children and adults in sport for over fifteen years and have a range of experiences in delivering sport in mainstream and special needs schools. At J&C coaching, we believe that through sport we can help young people to gain discipline and give them the life skills they need to become confident young people. We aim to do this by acting as positive role models in the young people’s lives, a consistent and encouraging presence. We see that sport can be used to build social harmony and engender a vibrant community spirit. Sport can be the key that can keep many young people out of trouble; a safe environment to expend their energies and a place that will meet their need of belonging. We hope to create a social unity that crosses races, cultures, religions and social class. We aim to provide a sport coaching provision that is both welcoming and all inclusive.

We have a strong team of professional coaches delivering to over 1000 children a week in schools and the community. We are one of the biggest sports coaching companies in Sussex and have been recognised with awards and a strong reputation.

Our passion for physical activity and sport and the social change reaches a long way. J&C Coaching have worked closely with charities and schools to help provide opportunities for every child in the community.

J&C Values

Understand the children, their personalities, abilities, goals and why they are in sport. Communication is a vital aspect in coaching and delivering.

We feel its important to talk to the children individually to determine what their values and beliefs are, what their goals are and why are they participating.

Sport develops a sense of friendliness among the children and helps to engage in their team spirits. It helps children to develop mentally and physically.

"Do not let what you cannot do interfere with what you can do".

Our motto is simple- "The way you train today, determines how you perform tomorrow".
